The VATA serves its members by providing opportunities for agricultural teachers to study and discuss curriculums, assessments and  issues affecting agricultjre education and FFA in the state.  We promote relationships with other teachers by cooperating in the development and dissemenation of teaching aids and materials. We encourage mutual helpfulness among members and promote high standards of teaching.
